Primary Setup: Have the NAS powered on and connected to the same LAN as your computer. Download and install Qfinder Pro (available for Windows, macOS, and Ubuntu).
Open Qfinder Pro: Launch the Qfinder Pro application on your computer — it will scan the local network and list detected QNAP devices.
Identify your device: Select the device in the list to view its IP address, model, and status. Bookmarked devices appear on top across subnets.
Access the NAS: Click Login (or open the displayed IP in your browser) to reach the QTS/QuTS login page and continue setup or administration.
Expected Result: Qfinder Pro shows your NAS entry with IP, model name, and a Login button; clicking Login opens the NAS web interface.
Next Steps: If Qfinder Pro does not detect the NAS, restart your PC and any network switch, ensure the firewall allows discovery, or try connecting the NAS directly to the router.
